Kuala Lumpur, October 8, 2024 – Group 2 from Thursina IIBS (Islamic International Boarding School) proudly earned the title of “The Most Favorite Group” at the World Youth Festival (WYF) 2024. The win came after participants from various countries voted on the second day of the event.

Edulinc: Transforming Leadership Training for Students

Group 2’s winning project, “Edulinc,” offers a new way to approach student leadership programs. This platform reshapes traditional OSIS (Intra-school Student Organization) training into engaging, hands-on learning. With Edulinc, students gain leadership, management, and communication skills essential for personal and academic growth.

Edulinc also allows students to connect with mentors and community leaders. This helps them build strong networks and gain meaningful guidance throughout their journey. The program encourages collaboration and equips young leaders to confidently handle challenges.

Inspiring Moments at WYF 2024

The enthusiastic atmosphere of WYF 2024 fueled Group 2’s success. Delegates from various countries felt inspired by the festival. Hammad Khan from Pakistan shared his excitement:

“It’s super fun and exciting! This is actually my first time going abroad to participate in a competition and attend an event. It’s an interesting experience for me to explore new things, and I’m very happy to meet so many people and expand my network. I also have the opportunity to see various groups present their business plans. It’s such a wonderful experience, and I’m thrilled to be here today!”
