Overview

The World Youth Festival (WYF) #Chapter Vietnam is an international program organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB), dedicated to empowering young leaders to take an active role in shaping a sustainable future. As a prestigious global platform, WYF unites youth from diverse nations, cultures, and backgrounds under the spirit of “Unlock Your Full Potential.”

At the core of the program is the Global Sustainability Project Competition, where participants design and present innovative solutions that aim to create meaningful social impact. These projects are closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a primary focus on SDG 3 (Good Health & Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work & Economic Growth), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Delegates are assigned to multicultural teams based on their selected SDG, ensuring that each group reflects the richness of international perspectives. Through this collaborative process, participants strengthen essential leadership capacities, including critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

The program also provides recognition and visibility for outstanding ideas, with awards presented to the most impactful projects demonstrating innovation, feasibility, and long-term potential. More than a competition, WYF offers a transformative experience where young people gain the confidence and skills to #LeadTheFuture within their communities and beyond.

With the 2026 theme, “Youth Solutions for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” WYF continues its mission to nurture young changemakers, celebrate diversity, and build global networks that transcend borders.

Participants will gather in one hall for further discussion and to connect with official speakers of the World Youth Festival 2026 Chapter Vietnam. Project Group Presentation (each delegate will be assigned to a distribution group based on the SDGs they have selected)

The World Youth Festival Vietnam Chapter will bring the theme Youth Solutions for a Sustainable Tomorrow with four sub themes which was Good Health & Well-being, Quality Education, Decent Work & Economic Growth and Climate Action.

The World Youth Festival will be held for four days starting from July 6 - 9, 2026. The program will consist of University Visit and Tour, International Youth Summit, Global Panel Discussion, Project Presentation, Cultural Performance, Awarding Ceremony, and Worldwide Networking.

The objectives of the World Youth Festival (WYF) are to empower youth leadership, promote them to collaboration in diversity, support the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs), enhance their critical and creative thinking skills, encourage them to social project Implementation, build global networks and partnerships, recognize them to outstanding contributions, support their career and academic development that strengthen participants academic portfolios, scholarship applications, and career opportunities.

The registration will be held on January 20, 2026 until June 7, 2026 Then the participants will get an acceptance announcement on February 20 - June 8, 2026.

The World Youth Festival program is funded by participants themselves, but we also offer a fully funded option for top participants. Those who qualify after the initial application process will be invited to participate in the interview round to be considered for the fully funded program.

Participants only need to prepare an essay. For the rules of writing the essay, all the details can be found in the guidelines book.

All activities at the World Youth Festival will be conducted in English, so it is recommended that participants have a strong command of the language.

Individuals between the ages of 15 and 40, regardless of educational or nationality background, are eligible as long as they have not been involved in any criminal activities.
